The Crossing largely follows the route of The Essential race but without the climb to Chasseral.
The Traversée route begins with a steep climb on the ridge and a steep descent to Cortébert and the 1st refreshment point. Quiet passage along the river, ideal for restarting the machine. Hilly climb to St-Imier and big climb of Col du Sergent to arrive at the Mt-Crosin wind farm. Last effort to reach Tramelan and the finish line. NB La Traversée is the 2nd stage of the Grand Chasseral Trail Series with the Villeret-Chasseral-Villeret race and the 7 Lieues trail (course des Pavés).
